Air conditioning systems using the latest R-32 Refrigerant


In keeping with Royal Marsden Hospital’s commitment to implement best practice, drive down running costs whilst improving energy efficiency EMS have just completed the first installation of air conditioning systems using the latest R-32 refrigerant. 

R-32 has several interesting environmental benefits. Compared to the commonly used refrigerant R-410A, the Global Warming potential of R-32 is only one third (GWP is 675 for R-32 compared with 2087.5 for R-410A). It also allows for a much smaller refrigerant volume and high energy efficiency.
